My husband and I began this journey in January of 2010 and our lives will never be the same.

We were a fairly "normal" couple that God moved to change our plans and become foster and adoptive parents.

Parenthood doesn't come with an instruction manual and there is no "Foster/Adopt Parenting for Idiots" at least not yet ;) 

So, this journey is a work in progress and I hope that this blog can be a resource for those who are considering this path or who have already been down this road before.

I hope this blog is both informative and entertaining or at least doesn't bore you to death...
